About Mary

AS TOLD BY DAVID

Mary is without a doubt my best friend and has the most amazing smile and laugh, which take my breath away. She is outgoing and she “lights up” every room she is in, making every conversation better, which is one of the reasons I was drawn to her. She is very accepting and goes out of her way to make you feel special. She has a great sense of humor that I can’t get enough of. Mary is incredibly generous and always puts her family’s and friends’ interests before her own. Having Mary in my life has made me a better man.

Mary is an absolutely fantastic mom! The love and respect our daughter has for her is like nothing I have ever seen and the feeling between them is mutual. Mary made the selfless decision to be a full-time mother after a very successful career. It is amazing to see her interact with our daughter and how our daughter’s life is being positively shaped through Mary’s love, guidance, and caring. I know that Mary would be an excellent mother to any child blessed to call her “Mommy.”

Mary is the foundation of our family. She is loving, attentive and caring. The best wife and mom anyone could hope for. Oh, and she’s a great baker! She makes great cakes and pies from scratch and the BEST Irish soda bread! People often enter our home to the great smells of baked goods in the oven. Every year after apple picking we have incredible homemade apple crumble. Same thing goes with pumpkin picking, it’s not just the fun event, it’s the time we spend after baking (and eating) the pies and cakes!

Seeing the great relationships Mary had with her nine nieces and nephews, I knew that this was the woman I would spend my life with. Mary is the favorite adult of the children in our lives, both relatives and friends’ kids, as she is so much fun and also makes them feel important, safe, and taken care of.

“Motherhood is a truly remarkable gift and a privilege that I hold very close to my heart. To be a positive role model, to be a continuous cheerleader for every milestone that my children will experience, and to demonstrate the abundance of unconditional love that has no end.”
